@ptolemyauletesXII I 100% disagree with you, eating raw foods is not THAT expensive. I can feed myself for 3 or 4 dollars a day and be 100% raw. You can still eat grains on a raw foods diet, you can soak and sprout them which makes them super easy to digest!
Raw foods like what they make are a treat sorta item.
Eating raw foods as advocated here is a luxury only wealthy westerners can afford. Staple foods like grains are the cornerstone of most people’s diets, and most require cooking to break down into more easily digestible forms. Cooking is one of the greatest human innovations and allowed people access to foods that were previously very difficult to digest, including meats, many grains, and certain vegetables such as potatoes. Raw foods are fine, but eating them exclusively is silly.
Your not independent testing, your using friends to hype your product and deleting my comments and blocking my OTHER account on youtube, more proof your a fraud. Want to redeem yourself? @BertisWorldYT Thanks so much!
@frugalnanny dehydrated stuff, things being not whole and stuff i guess. but it’s definetly not bad or anything it’s just nothing to rely on.
CAN WE SEE LESS OF THE FACES AND MORE OF THE FOOD AND HOW IT IS BEING PREPARED.? IF YOU KINDLY DONT MIND?
PLEASE? THANKS.
I am very new at this raw thing and had a question.
What is wrong with eatting at a raw food place?
more details please.
@lovinglivefood That clears that up! Thanks for responding. Makes perfect sense.
@wheresmylife
Because I have watched all their videos. I believe that is Matt’s mother’s house they recorded in.
@lovinglivefood Ahhh…. thanks. Couldn’t help but notice the frying pan. How do you know it’s not their kitchen? Oh well, either way, it’s no big deal!
@wheresmylife
That isn’t their kitchen.
Clean Hands?…. Clean Dog….Clean dog petting hands? and what about hair nets? I thingk they still sell them in beauty supply stores. That Sunflower seed paste sounds wonderful…. I eat them everyday… try a sterile environment if you continue to get sick… Luv U both… stay healthy!
Why do you have a frying pan/grill on your stove? What could you possibly use that for with raw food when you don’t heat or cook anything? And, Angela… you should consider a different kind of cutting board other than glass. Glass cutting boards damage knives.
avocado and sunflo sd butter? plenty omega 6
Your wraps remind me of what is called “samchu sam” in Korean (I’m Korean by the way). It means “lettuce wrap,” and can really consist of anything. My mom likes using chili paste (gochu jang) and whatever fermented vegetables we have in the house (banchan…stuff). Anyway, I thought it was cool how similar your wraps were to what we eat.
)
Never thought to grate the cucumber,.
That looks so good!
Looks so yummy! could you please post the quantities for the ingredients? I know Matt mentioned he doesn’t measure anything, but more or less to get an idea, thanks! : )
Do you soak your dulce?
Sammie looks to be a wonderful companion!
What’s happening in Ecuador??? Did I miss something?
My favorite is my Lilly, a golden chow mutt runt! She’s only 35 lbs so she’s a little gal. This recipe sounds yum, can’t wait to try it.
It’s 1/2 avocado and 1.5 tbsp sunflower seed butter each. I think I saw Ann Wigmore say not to eat too much avocado a day otherwise you put on weight. I think English Wigmore teacher Elaine Bruce said not more than 1/4 avo a day. But, sometimes we need variety or transition food / just general choice to stick with it or begin. Can always pare down later.
I made this today for lunch and instead of a wrap, I lumped it on top of salad greens. Instead of dulse I used radish sprouts. DOUBLE YUM
I ask this request because I have heard Matt talk quite a bit about how he use to be overly health conscious/fanatic which sounded like obsession in the past – which is what happens in orthorexia nervosa, so I’m curious as to your thoughts on this topic. I went on ABC 20/20 last Sept to talk about this and they completely twisted everything around to blame a raw food lifestyle which is complete BS… never trust the media! You go to help people and things get tweaked.
My german shepherd of course… smile. Wait, why would you peel (strip) the cucumber? what was the importance of doing that? don’t devalue it, leave it and enjoy it! Mmm avocado, don’t need that seed butter when you have avocado. Glad to see you mixing it up, eating the same thing over and over every day doesn’t allow enough variety, so I have learned! I’d like to hear your thoughts on orthorexia nervosa sometime… never seen you two address this or any raw superstars on either for that matter
